Step 1: Add a Phone Number Destination
- Open Fwrdly
- Tap “Add destination”
- Select Phone / SMS
- Enter the destination phone number (with country code, e.g.
+14155550123) - Tap Save
Step 2: Enable Forwarding
Toggle “Enable forwarding” to ON. Every SMS you receive will now also be sent to the destination number.
What the Forwarded Message Looks Like
The forwarded text arrives at the destination number as an SMS from your number, with the original sender info prepended:
[Fwd from +1 555-0100]
Your delivery is scheduled for today between 2–4 PM.The destination number can see who originally sent the message.

Filtering to Forward Only Important Messages
Forwarding everything to another number can get noisy. Use Fwrdly’s filters:

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it cost me per forwarded message? Forwarded messages are sent as outbound SMS from your iPhone, so they use your cellular SMS plan. Most unlimited plans include unlimited SMS.
Can I forward to an international number?
Yes. Enter the number with the full international prefix (e.g. +44 for UK). International SMS rates from your carrier apply.
Can the destination number reply? Replies from the destination number go to your iPhone, not the original sender. True two-way forwarding is a planned Pro feature.
